Timber2605Mad Swan Andrew Mcinerney Perth, WA, (Notes From Dave Stewart) I picked up the boat, with no name and no sail number from a gentleman in East Fremantle, who had It in his shed for about 30 years unused. I haven’t had the mad swan for about 10 years (since 2012), at the time I picked it to help build the fleet at SoPYC, the first year had it I sailed at the EFYC state heats and had fun and in the lighter breezes it is a very fast boat, after that season I decided to build my own 125 (3182) and 3 more. I then gave the Mad Swan to sailing members at SoPYC as a training boat and to encourage people into sailing the 125's. This seemed to work as we did build the class at SoPYC, as it was an exciting class. I had sold the boat since, but not sure that he made it on to the water much. I (Andrew McInerney) has since bought the boat from the Waylen Bay Sea Scouts and set it up in my carport stripping, resealing glass and epoxy for a new paint/varnish coating. Looking to get in the water soon to bring it back to former glory with myself or my children helming it :) Edit
