Stitch and Glue plan sets and building instructions for plywood construction.
I have been in contact with the national measurer by E Mail who has advised that the association no longer sells sell plan sets and building instructions for plywood construction. I have been waiting many years until my kids had reached an age where we could build and sail a 125 together. Is there anyone out there that could assist me in obtaining a new or second hand set of instructions and plans to build a wooden 125. Reagards.
Regards

I am dissapointed by the reponse you received. Sounds like the "too hard" response. If you are in SA contact me 8293 4997 and we will organised to mark out your ply and get you the building instructions.

In Queensland we have an old set of paper pattens and building instructions. No one has built a timber boat in a while, but between the commitee we will be able to point you in the right direction.

If the paper patens fail (they are very old), then we can help you make a set of paper pattens off one of the QLD boats (which is how is used to be done!) All we need is a big roll of butchers paper and the measurement templates.

Grant,
Each State Division was issued with a set of standardised mylar patterns a few years back. These are the standard set which should be applied to boats if a "fit to pattern" is needed. Paper patterns are simply made by drawing around the edges.
If you do not have these standard patterns, as your response implied, how are you currently building boats that measure.

Don/Simon
The QLD state Measurer has the mylar pattens in his possesion.

We can use the mylar pattens to make you a paper set that you can use to build your timber boat. If you are in Queensland contact either myself of another member of the QLD committee and we can help you get started

I have an original set of "Building Instructions - 1986" that can be copied (34 pages). They are in good condition but no associated plan set. They were supplied to me by Herb Manders (QLD) back in about 1991, for sail #2949.
